Role: Product Designer
Duration: 17 months
Projects: Paper Mode • Quizizz AI • Avatars
Teams: Growth, AI & Content, Engagement
Quizizz is used in over 100 countries by millions of students and teachers every month. During my time there, I worked as the sole designer across three key product initiatives. Each one came with its own challenge, team, and user goal, and each shaped how I think about product design at scale.
I collaborated with cross-functional teams in growth, AI/content, and engagement. The design work spanned research, UX/UI, prototyping, validation, handoff, and iteration based on metrics and user feedback.

Team: Growth
Problem: Many teachers still relied on pen-and-paper quizzes. This group wasn’t using Quizizz at all.
Goal: Find a way to bring offline teachers into our product without asking them to change how they teach.
I led the UX for Paper Mode, from research to interface design to dev handoff. The solution had to feel familiar to teachers who weren't digitally native but wanted the benefit of automated grading.
Paper mode testing session at City International School & City Montessori School, Lucknow.
Paper Mode allowed teachers to generate printable quizzes with scannable answer sheets. After the question, they could scan results using their phone or tablet to instantly grade and view analytics, no student logins required.
